Opportunity to present your clinical case in front of AIOP active members

Competition Subject:
A personally performed prosthetic treatment, detailing clinical and technical aspects.
Who is it addressed to:
Clinicians and Technicians under 40 and traineeship students currently enrolled in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics Degree.It is recommended to apply for the Competition as a Clinician–Technician pair, provided that both candidates are under 40 years of age.
Date for Announcement of Invited Presenters in Riccione: March 16th, 2026
REGISTRATION DETAILS
- Case Submission Deadline: March 9th, 2026
- Requirements: To apply for the contest, candidates must be correctly registered at the XVII AIOP Mediterranean Meeting.
- Case Presentation Date: Friday, March 27th

- The use of the official template is recommended but not mandatory
- There will be a Q&A session after the presentation, involving both the Evaluation Committee and past and present participants
- Participants are encouraged to attend all presentations
- Official language: Italian / English
- Evaluation Committee:

- Luca Santoni (Dental Technician)
- Voting Criteria from 1 to 10 by the Committee
- Treatment plan and technical project
- Prosthetic complexity relative to the candidate’s age
- Documentation
- Presentation
- Consistency and quality of the final case
- The Committee will select the three finalists who will present in the plenary hall on March 28th : The three candidates with the highest scores will be invited to present their case on Saturday, March 28th, in front of the Meeting audience; each will have 10 minutes for their presentation.
- The vote of the Committee, combined with that of the Meeting audience in equal proportion, will determine the winner.
- Award ceremony will be held in the plenary hall.
PRIZES The top 3 finalists will receive free AIOP membership for 2027.
All participants will be entitled to attend a training day at a Major Sponsor.
Nel contesto del XIV Meeting Mediterraneo al Palacongressi di Rimini si è svolto nei giorni 24-25 marzo 2023 il Concorso AIOP Young, nuovo contest rivolto ai giovani Soci Ordinari Odontoiatri e Odontotecnici di età inferiore ai 35 anni.

E’ stata una grande opportunità per i partecipanti che hanno potuto farsi conoscere e confrontarsi con i nostri Soci Attivi scambiando opinioni e chiedendo loro qualche consiglio sui casi clinici presentati ed è stato entusiasmante per noi di AIOP ottenere un riscontro così forte da giovani colleghi.
AIOP da sempre attenta al coinvolgimento dei giovani e alla loro crescita professionale all’interno dell’Accademia ha messo a punto un programma di aggiornamento dedicato ai Soci Young che vogliano intraprendere un serio percorso formativo e di aggiornamento in protesi coniugando le
indispensabili conoscenze tradizionali con il moderno approccio delle nuove tecnologie digitali.
